I like writing fiction. It’s been awhile since I’ve wrote much tho. But I was recently prompted to write some stories as an exercise in divergent thinking. To conceive perspectives and opinions beyond first thoughts.
My first attempt turned out in the style of a Grim fairytale. Dark and morbid with a moral. But it was kinda fun. And I feel inspired to continue in the style.
So I’ve decided to create a category or series called Grim Perspectives. It will be a collection of short stories inspired by my environment and experiences. The exercises are meant to stimulate unique ideas and thoughts. So they might in reality be completely opposite to any experience I might be having. But stemming from similar circumstances and setting.
Be aware, content will have a dark tone. Reader discretion advised. I will aspire to quality story telling without being gratuitously dark.
